Here are some things to expect to discuss at your design appointment
- Finish – 2 pack vs handpainting: there’s no more premium finish than 2 pack paint. But here at Almara we love working with our friends at Purpaint, who can do a handpainted job that needs to be seen to be believed. It’s not quite as luxurious as 2 pack but its pretty close and significantly cheaper, meaning it’s a great option for coming in on budget for an elaborate project or where it’s a spare room and the savings can be reinvested elsewhere in your home. Our designer will be able to go into further detail during your appointment, and if you’re still unsure you can swing down to the showroom to have a look in the flesh. One thing to note is that 2 pack is not all glossy but can be done in a more modern satin too. Of course you can also select from a wide range of laminates and veneers – discuss with your designer to get the full run down
- Modern or classic – Are you after an enchanted corner to sink into your Hemingway collection or a sleek display with clean lines and bright books? Though book-filled rooms tend to feel classic, they also look great as part of a modern aesthetic… and we can do either!
